12 April 2021 | 15:11pm StockMarketWire.com - Oriole Resources, the AIM-quoted exploration company focussed on West Africa, announced that visible free gold mineralisation has been identified at its 51% owned Bibemi gold project in Cameroon. The company reported that visible free gold mineralisation has been identified in multiple holes at the Lawa West prospect and the Lawa East prospect. The programme is focussed on testing the depth extension of surface gold mineralisation identified at four key prospects - Bakassi Zone 1, Bakassi Zone 2, Lawa West and Lawa East - within a 8.3-kilometre-long orogenic gold system that remains open to the southwest. The gold is hosted by quartz-tourmaline veins up to one metre wide, at a downhole depth of approximately 70 metres, and has a strong association with pyrite, occurring as both finely disseminated and coarser grains, some of which is visible in the pre-cut core in the holes at Lawa West. ....

Mon, 18th Jan 2021 11:15 (Alliance News) - Oriole Resources PLC on Monday said the 10,000 metre air core drilling programme at its Senala project in Senegal was completed as scheduled and results from its maiden diamond drilling programme at the Bibemi project in Cameroon are due later this quarter. Shares in Oriole were up 20% at 1.08 pence in London in late morning trading. Oriole, an exploration company focused on west Africa, said results from its Senala air core programme, completed by IAMGOLD, are expected in the first quarter. The goal of the drilling is to better define the geochemical footprint of gold mineralisation at the Fare prospect at Senala. Subject to the results, IAMGOLD intends to conduct 5,000 metres of follow-up drilling and 1,00 metres of diamond test drilling. ....
Oriole Resources PLC (AIM: ORR), the AIM-quoted exploration company focussed on West Africa, provides an update on its Bibemi project ( Bibemi ) in Cameroon. The Company is pleased to report that recent mapping and selective rock-chip sampling to the south west of the main Bakassi area ( Bakassi ) has identified two new prospects, Lawa West and Lawa East (the Prospects ), which have returned results of up to 11.68 grammes per tonne ( g/t ) gold ( Au ) and 22.38 g/t Au respectively.
The results have extended the known gold system at Bibemi by three kilometres ( km ) to 8.3km and mineralisation remains open to the south west. The Company plans to test the new Prospects with eight drill holes and, together with further three holes at Bakassi Zone 1, the planned maiden diamond drilling programme now stands at 28 holes for 3,080 metres ( m ). The rig is now expected to arrive in Cameroon in late December ....
