our top story tonight is just with have just learned information about a crash that sent four cyclists to a hospital in johnston county on massengill pond road. amy cutler is on the scene with the latest. reporter: this accident happened just behind where we are right now on the side of this road in the last few minutes the state highway patrol has sent out an update time as the four cyclists were rushed to the hospital with two of them sustaining head trauma authorities have told us the cyclists were headed north on massengill pond road when they were struck from behind. offering inside. her mother is too distraught to speak. she was coming up over the hill and didn t see the cyclist. she panicked. authorities the alcohol was not a factor. following the accident, her mother waited on scene. wake medical hospital. when i got here she was actually laying over there in the ditch crying. and she kept saying that they are alive? and i went and looked. they were all alive.
