CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – No. 33 Arkansas dropped a 4-2 decision to No. 29 Old Dominion on Friday morning in Chapel Hill, N.C. at the NCAA Tournament. The Razorbacks fall to 11-11 on the year with the loss.
The Hogs earned the doubles point with big wins from Razorback duos on courts one and two. No. 36 Morgan Cross and Tatum Rice were the first to finish in doubles play, climbing back from a 4-3 deficit to win three-straight games and register a 6-4 win over Yulia Starodubtseva and Alesya Yakubovich.
The duo of Kelly Keller and Jackie Carr pushed their Monarch opponents, Brooke Pilkington and Alexandra Viktorovic, into extra games, but ultimately fell 7-5 on court three.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – There is a lot to be said about the Razorbacks’ play against No. 21 Auburn in the second round of the SEC Tournament on Tuesday evening, but lack of effort is not one of them.
A day after defeating 14th seed Mizzou to advance, Arkansas fell to sixth-seeded Auburn 4-1 with the Razorbacks’ sole win coming from senior Tatum Rice on court three.
Rice defeated her opponent in straight sets for the second consecutive night, taking down Auburn’s Yu Chen 6-3, 6-4. Rice and freshman partner Morgan Cross also picked up a 6-1 doubles win over Georgie Axon and Adeline Flach in the number one position.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Freshman Morgan Cross completed an epic comeback against Missouri’s Valentina Vazquez Pongruber on day one of the SEC Tournament on Monday evening, securing a 3-6, 6-2, 7-5 win to clinch the team victory and lift No. 30 Arkansas over Mizzou 4-3.
The Hogs won the doubles point with big wins on courts two and three. The Tigers took the first doubles match on court one, but senior Jackie Carr and sophomore Kelly Keller quickly responded with a 6-4 win on court three. Freshman Indianna Spink and partner senior Lauren Alter defeated Gabrielle Goldin and Serena Nash 7-5 and the Razorbacks took a 1-0 advantage into singles play.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas. – The No. 28 University of Arkansas women’s tennis team lost at No. 20 Texas A&M on Sunday, starting off hot in singles play but eventually dropped a 4-1 decision to the Aggies. With the loss, the Razorbacks fall to 10-9 on the season and 4-9 in Southeastern Conference play.
In doubles play, number one pair Morgan Cross and Tatum Rice secured a 6-3 win over No. 43-ranked Aggies Tatiana Makarova and Jayci Goldsmith. Lauren Alter and Indianna Spink paired up for a battle on court two but fell to Renee McBryde and Dorthea Faa-Hviding 6-3.
Now with both Arkansas and Texas A&M with one win apiece, both teams looked to court three, where Kelly Keller and Laura Rijkers faced Riley McQuaid and Katya Townsend. Townsend and McQuaid ultimately came up with the 6-4 win, clinching the doubles point for the Aggies.
