Coventry University has become the first institution in the UK to have an online nursing degree programme approved, with applications now open to prospective student nurses.
In the summer, Health Education England announced that seven universities had signed up to the new “blended learning nursing degree option”, the theoretical component of which will mostly be delivered online.
