King County Councilmember Reagan Dunn on Thursday presented a proclamation (attached) to the Tahoma High School boys and girls cross country teams to honor and congratulate both teams on winning first place in this year’s 4A Washington State Cross Country Coaches Association Cross Country State Meet. “I am so proud that Tahoma High School athletes took home not just one, but two state championships,” Dunn said. “It’s a stunning achievement, and a real cause to celebrate during what has been a very challenging year for both students and teachers. Tahoma High School’s We the People once again earned first place in Washington State competition. Maple Valley Fire & Life Safety Board voted to support the Fire Benefit Charge instead of the current Levy/Bond system. Next step was to pass it to the Steering Committee who would decide when to place the issue before the people for a vote. ....
