A woman who punched a Garda in the face and threatened his family was sentenced to five months in jail at a recent sitting of Bandon District Court in West Cork.
Judge Marian O’Leary imposed the sentence on Laura Malone who pleaded guilty to the charge of assault causing harm to the woman who had been a friend .
