Olatunji Luqman Olayinka, who died along with others during last Friday’s military plane crash in Kaduna. Ekanola also commiserated with the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), and Nigerians on the death of the Chief of Army Staff, Late Lt. General Ibrahim Attahiru, and other gallant officers in the ill-fated military plane crash. A statement by UI Spokesman, Olatunji Oladejo, said the Late Brig.-Gen. She attended Ago-Ijaye Methodist ,Ebute Metta, then Methodist Girls High School, Yaba Lagos. She was a devoted Girls Guide member. Shortly after leaving secondary school, she lost her mother on the 25th of July 1963 (who was buried on the 27th July same year) leaving behind eight children – Morenike being the second child and the eldest girl, ....

On behalf of the Southern Command of Indian Army Colonel Deepak Taluja of Army Air Defence on Thursday felicitated Saroj Pande, wife of Late Brig KP Pande, MVC a 1971 war veteran, on the occasion of Swarnim Vijay Varsh at Gurugram. The event marked the commencement of carriage of Victory Flame to Southern Cardinal direction after it was handed over to various Army Commands in a mega event on 16 Dec 20 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at India Gate, Indian Army said. ....
