The fire, which was stopped at about nine acres, threatened numerous rural homes, leading to evacuations of five streets. Units from cal fire, marin fire, willmar, san rafael fire, and novato fire, all were aided by two aerial tankers that made short work of the fire spreading in gusty winds.
