FDOT to hold virtual workshop on plans for I-4 wildlife crossing

The Florida Department of Transportation s District One will host a virtual public workshop starting May 25 to review design plans for a wildlife crossing over Interstate 4.
Based on previous environmental studies, one wildlife crossing will be located about 1.6 miles east of the I-4/State Road 33 interchange to connect with Tenoroc Management Area to the south. The crossing will be a 44-foot-wide bridge over I-4.
The workshop will be held online at www.swflroads.com/i4/wildlifecrossing, with no live component. It will last from May 25 to June 15.
Workshop materials will be available online for review and comments on the design. ....
