another hearing is scheduled in san jose for a man suspected of kidnapping and killing sierra lamar opinion torres was arrested on murder charges a few months later. even though her body has still not been found. san jose police need help to find a man who has been missing for a week. 44-year-old larry morris was last seen around 1:00 thursday afternoon. police say morris has the mental capacity of a two-year- old and is at risk. he s described as a white man with very short thinning brown hair. firefighters found a garage full of marijuana plants while responding to reports of a smoke coming from a home in hayward. they got the call around 7:30 last night. no one was there and when firefighters broke open the garage door pot plants nearly spilled out. it was caused by an electrical problem so they were forced to fight the flames with an fire extinguisher. about 200 plants were in the house. alameda county sheriffs department is investigating the case. it s another s
