viewers coming back for more. it s monday, february 17th. announcer: from abc news, this is world news now. good morning. i m marci gonzalez in for diana perez. i m ryan smith in for john muller. we begin with breaking news from europe. the confirmed hijacking of ethiopian jet this morning. flight 702 was flying from ethiopia to rome but landed hundreds of miles away from geneva instead. no one was injured and one man in custody. there are some reports that some passengers have asked for asylum but that has not been confirmed. the airline is now scrambling to get passengers where they need to go. we ll continue to follow this breaking story from geneva. investigators are looking into unsolved murders in alaska, california, north carolina and texas, after a disturbing claim by a pennsylvania teenager. miranda barbour says over the past six years she s been on killing spree with so many victims she s stopped counting. with more details here s abc news s ma ....
