New this morning a woman is dead after getting hit by a truck in aurora. Police say a truck slammed into the victim near montview police say when they got to the scene they found her laying in the road in the middle of the intersection. The woman was rushed to the hospital where she later died. The driver was eventually caught and taken into custody. Colfax ave is now reopen near i25 as Denver Police look into a fatal accident there. Police tell us the crash involved a motorcycle. Our photographer on scene could only get to this roadblock the accident was further down. We dont have any more information right now, but well update you when we find out more. Was just months away from graduating from the westminster campus. On august 25th reporter he received an e mail early Tuesday Morning letting him know he would not finish his last two quarters there.
