He is not a student, faculty, staff. we have no idea why he came to campus to do this. the gunman first opened fired at berkey hall, an academic building which was still open at the time. two people were killed at that location. we don t know the specifics as far as which people were injured at which location. then the gunman moved a short distance northwest to where i am now, the student union. as they are on most campuses, it was open at that time. one more person was killed at that location. the identities of the victims are still being withheld pending notification of next of kin. students here at the university are in a state of shock knowing now indeed it can happen here. from lansing 7, 8, 9 cop cars going all over the place and as we got the msu alerts active shooter, run, hide, fight we turned on the news and everything and heard more and ....
