Children were nearby. Police found her body inside her Delaware County home today but it didnt take officers long to make an arrest. Good evening everyone, im chris oconnell. Im dawn timmeney. That womans boyfriend is now in police custody. Lets get straight out to dave kinchen. He has the story for us from darby borough tonight. Dave . Reporter well, dawn and chris, police say it was neighbors stepping up on their own and giving up information that led to police making arrest very quickly. It is very scary. I live right here. So i am scared. Reporter she lives right across the street from the darby borough home where young mother of two was shot and killed on the 100 block of Spring Valley road. I was like so shocked because ive been living here for over a decade now, and i never have seen anything like this. So it was like so surprising. Reporter police say early this morni ....

That little twoyearold boy as you mentioned shot four times in the back. Im going to step out of the way. You can see the life seen behind us where shell casings remain on the ground here. The father a 26yearold shot in the right knee both were on their front porch just enjoying the night when two men came up on bmx type bikes, they opened fire. Neighbors say they ducked for cover some hearing as many as nine shots fired. The suspects took off on bikes. Police conducting at this hour a massive search on the ground and in the air. They did put some people in handcuffs at one point but say that was just for questioning. No arrests yet. The child taken to Saint Christophers Hospital in critical condition. His father taken to temple hospital in stable. No word at this errly hour on a motive at this point. A lot of people outside on friday night. Some do report seeing men on bikes taking off. Captain
