Khaled Al Jamal has started a new general manager role with Fairmont Amman, his first hospitality job outside of Marriott International in 20 years.
Al Jamal has spent much of his hospitality career with Marriott, first as a director of restaurants at Budapest Marriott Hotel in 1994, according to his Linkedin. He then continued his journey through the group, taking up roles across countries and across departments.
Becoming a general manager in 2003 at Courtyard by Marriott in Moscow, he moved between various Marriott properties, including more recently the Accra Marriott Hotel.
His move to Fairmont, an Accor brand, marks the end of a 20 plus-year career with the rival Marriott.

Wan Enderi has over 20 years of experience, having worked with some of the industry s multinational hospitality companies and hotels both locally and overseas.

Roshan started his career as a trainee in 1986, at the InterContinental Hotels Group, after which he worked for leading hotel companies such as Lanka Leisure Management Services (Pvt Ltd), Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces, The Blue Water where he served as the General Manager for 4 years and then as the Chief Executive Officer for the group, Union Resorts Ltd while he continued to serve as the General Manager of The Blue Water totalling nearly 12 years of his career.
Roshan s most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer of Laufgs Leisure Limited, managing Anantaya Resort and Spas and Silk Trails by Laufgs Leisure. A veteran in the leisure sector, holding senior positions for over 30 years, Roshan joins Mövenpick Hotel Colombo, an award-winning property, bringing a wealth of knowledge with a focus on strategic management, F and B, leadership and marketing.
