It looks like our Winter Weather is still a ways off and wont impact caucus goers but city workers are already out getting the roads ready. We spoke with cedar rapids streets superintendent manager mike duffy who says crews have already been out putting down salt brine on major roads, bridges and intersections to help keep ice from sticking to the pavement. Crews will be out all night and once the snow starts to fall and they switch over to clearing those roads its important to give them spa ....

The Arkansas Department of Agriculture has awarded $20,000 in scholarships to eight students attending Arkansas universities with agricultural programs.
