Bendix Announces 2021 Technical Training Sessions Air Brake and Advanced Technology Training Courses Will Visit 10 States for In-Person Learning, While Following All Health and Safety Protocols; Virtual Air Brake Training Classes Also Available May 25, 2021 Bendix Building on decades of industry training experience, Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC (Bendix) has restarted its long-running training programs for 2021, after the pandemic required postponement of much of the 2020 schedule. Bendix is offering in-person and online training opportunities for fleet technicians, owner-operators, and others to enhance the skills necessary for keeping vehicles on the road and in safe operating condition. In-person opportunities on the 2021 calendar cover 10 states. They include 10 sessions of Bendix’s three-day Air Brake Training class beginning June 8-10 in Rosemount, MN. And Bendix will hold its two-day in-person Advanced Technology Training program � ....
It s easy to forget everything local fire departments do for the public, but they re not just here to rescue people when there s a fire. They also rescue animals.On Friday, crews rescued nearly a dozen animals from a house in Oklahoma City. We were dispatched on a structure fire, residential house fire that possible people (were) trapped inside, said Maj. Lance Hansen, with the Oklahoma City Fire Department.But when crews got there, it wasn t people trapped inside, but pets. All in all, it was about eight to 10 animals in there, Hansen said.Fire crews think the owner tried to go back into the house to save the animals before fire officials arrived. Had some smoke inhalation, but she has gone to the hospital and is doing fine, Hansen said.Due to the wind, crews had to work fast to get the animals out. The wind was pushing through the house, so we made a secondary attack on the south side, Hansen said.Thanks to that attack, all the dogs and cats will be just fine. Everythin ....
March 12, 2021 Lewiston School District Assistant Superintendent Lance Hansen has accepted the job as the district’s new Superintendent. Hansen has been with the school district for 14 years – the last 8 years as the assistant superintendent. Lance Hansen He replaces Bob Donaldson who announced his retirement plans last month after 32 years with Lewiston schools. Hansen will begin his new role July 1st and his initial contract, which comes with an annual salary of $147,000, runs through June of 2024.
