Chorley Library is to close for essential maintenance
It is thought this work will be completed within two weeks, however regular visitors are asked to check the library website for updates.
People are asked not to return books to Chorley Library while it is closed. Books can be returned to any other Lancashire Library, renewed in person, by phone, or online.
The nearest alternative libraries are at Clayton Green, Adlington and Coppull.
Julie Bell, head of libraries for Lancashire County Council, said: “We’re sorry for any inconvenience while Chorley Library is closed, and would ask people to consider using the many services available online, or one of the nearby alternatives, for the next couple of weeks. ....
