“The Crucible” is a 1953 play by American playwright Arthur Miller. It is a dramatized and partially fictionalized story of the Salem witch trials in the Massachusetts Bay Colony during the 1690s. Stage North Theatre Co.’s production will be on Friday, Oct. 21, and Saturday; and Oct. 28 and 29.

Bethlehem Lutheran Church services
Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 418 Eighth Ave. NE, Brainerd, a communion service will be livestreamed at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 24. Drive-in services with communion will be offered at 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Arrive early, stay in the car and park in the designated area. Pastor Mark Skinner will be preaching at all three services. Prelude for all of the services will begin 15 minutes prior to the start time.
