A dog that survived a 400ft drop down a rugged cliff face and onto a North Yorkshire beach is back at home recovering with his owner. Frank, a five-year-old Lakeland Patterdale terrier cross, escaped with a broken foot and back left leg and a few missing teeth after the terrifying ordeal left him on the beach below with the tide quickly coming in. In a stroke of luck, he was found by a fisherman hunting down good fishing spots. If he had not had been spotted, he would have been taken out to sea.
