started for some last couple days. we are in a significant cooler pattern here especially today. it will bottom out today much bigger fog bank drizzle, rip roaring turbo charge delta breeze everything is in place. cloud cover just pouring in on the low clouds, 60s, 60s, 70s. 80s but livermore will be a soft 80. soft 80. sal happy friday. same to you steve happy friday. we are looking at some of these commute that is are doing very well to start off our friday we are hoping to get a little bit of a lighter commute. this is a look at the commute from vacaville, fairfield, vallejo, a nice looking drive all the way through down to the carcenas bridge. heading out to the junction where a lot of traffic splits off. looking at the commute driving on interstate 880 it is a very nice drive this is in oakland no surprises today traffic continues to look good at the bay bridge toll plaza you will see traffic is looking good getting into san francisco now back to the desk. thank you
hot. but they have been kind of ratcheting down a little bit. and they ll continue to come down today. most locations will drop into the 70s and will still be in the 80s. i ll tell you, it looks pretty cool out here. look at the fog bank. from eureka to san diego. no thunderstorm activity in the sierra, so you re good there. still west 26, gust to 33. that will do it every time. the lows are on the milder side. upper 50s to low 60s. but tahoe, reno, truckee, looking good. 60s for many. 70s now inland or low to mid- 80s. all right, sal, anything on a friday or are we still okay? we re okay we do have a couple of minor things that could cause delays. but for the most part in general, i like this start to the friday commute. we have slow traffic. it s not nearly as bad as it was yesterday. there is slowing on 205 westbound coming up to the altamont pass. you will see traffic once you get into the livermore area. looks okay. it turned out to be a noninjury crash that they were
the 3d satellite we re dry and quiet but take look to the south. we ve been watching this area of disturbed weather around the bahamas. that could turn into something tropical hermine moving toward the florida straits then eventually perhaps even in the gulf of mexico. but we ll stay dry, we ll stay sunny for the up coming weekend but the humidity won t be as bad for tomorrow. but it is still going to be hot just less humid as woe work your way toward your saturday. so, of course, we ll be keeping tabs on the temperatures. but also down the shore there will be an increased risk for some dangerous rip currents and that is because of another tropical system well out to sea. it s name is gaston we ll be watching that. otherwise, high pressure will be in control for the weekend and once again we have gaston well out into the open waters and the potential is there around the bahamas for hermine. we ll be monitoring that situation. it was looking pretty ragged but starting to get l
