Two women from Alexandria celebrate a century of life 7:00 am, Feb. 4, 2021 × For Mabel Uhde’s 100th birthday, her nephew Jon Nygren created a large yard sign to place in front of Alexandria Assisted Living near Lake Cowdry. The sign asks passersby to honk once for Uhde’s birthday because her window overlooks the road. “She has a big heart and is an incredible lady,” Nygren said.
