We were up the road from here at the burned out gas station at sherman and burleigh when some people came by, told Police Officers there that a house fire had started just a couple of blocks away. We saw about three on or four milwaukee vehicles speeding by. We also have a crew up the scene. As you can see, ladders have been brought out. At one point, there were several firefighters up on the roof. Looks like from where im standing, i can still see flashlights. Might still be firefighters on the roof of the home. As of now, we have no word on any injuries relate to this fire. We also have no indication that this fire is in any way related to the unrest weve seen in this neighborhood the last couple of nights but as you can see on the also several mpd squads in the area.
