The Lagos State College of Nursing, Igando, has said the Jobs Initiative Lagos training is helping Nigerian students identify the opportunities around the country easily.

The PUNCH during a JIL workshop for final year and penultimate year students in LASCON noted that the training had enlightened them to other opportunities in the country’s health sector which they could explore for employment or become employers of labor.
The training which has now been extended to medical schools and Colleges of Health Technologies was organised by the Lagos State Government (Office of the Special Adviser on Education) in partnership and LoftInc Allied Partners Limited.
Post COVID-19 era: Lagos trains student nurses, youths in agric value chain

Lagos State Government has expressed commitment to the promotion of a youth empowerment scheme that would expose youths and students to modern agricultural and value chain skills and methods in the post-COVID-19 era.
The State Commissioner for Agriculture, Ms Abisola Olusanya, made the remark on Tuesday, at the opening ceremony of the Five-day training in the coconut value chain for student nurses in the state and youths at the Farm Service Center, Oko-Oba, Agege.
The Training titled “Integrating Coconut Value Chain into the Entrepreneurship Course for Student Nurses in Lagos State” was a collaborative initiative of Lagos State Coconut Development Authority (LASCODA) and Lagos State College of Nursing (LASCON).
