No fewer than 27 suspected criminals have been arrested by men of the Lagos State Police Command during raids on criminal hideouts in different parts of the state.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, said in a statement on Sunday that the Commander, Rapid Response Squad, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, while acting on the order of the state Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, raided different black spots in the metropolis on Thursday and Friday.
He stated that the raids were to strengthen efforts to reduce traffic robbery, cultism and other social vices in the state. ....
