Rockridge and Rock Island High School cheerleaders came together in solidarity and sisterhood this week. During Rocky s practice on Tuesday, the Lady Rockets surprised senior Rock Island cheerleader Cecilia "Ceci" Padilla with $1,000 for a new wheelchair. Padilla, who was born with spina bifida, has been cheering for Rocky since her freshman year.
