Community Honors Fallen Officer

(La VERGNE, TN) In honor of La Vergne Police Officer Brandon Joyner, who died Monday in a single-vehicle accident, his patrol vehicle has been set up in front of La Vergne's City Hall. Anyone feeling so moved is welcome to place flowers on the hood of his vehicle.

LA VERGNE, TN – This Saturday (12/02/23) will mark the 13th annual Parade of Lights at 5 p.m. in La Vergne, Tennessee. The parade begins at the La Vergne City Hall and ends at Veterans Memorial Park, where the tree lighting ceremony and fireworks show will take place.
This year's theme is "Peace on Earth,” with U.S. Veteran Aaron Bock from La Vergne serving as the parade grand marshal. Following the parade there will be Christmas caroling, snacks, and pictures . ....

"Carry The Load" at La Vergne City Hall Saturday 6PM

(La VERGNE, TN)  A non-profit organization that aims to help people celebrate Memorial Day is making a stop in La Vergne this year.
Everyone is invited to join Carry the Load for a community fellowship and a show of support for our veterans, service members and first responders. The rally in La Vergne will be at 6:00 o'clock Saturday night (5/20/2023) at the La Vergne City Hall, 5093 Murfreesboro Road.
Interested participants are encouraged to meet at the La Vergne Post Office on Murfrees . ....
