Strong straight line winds, maybe even isolated tornado and small hail also. something else we re seeing this morning on the other side of the system, top half, a few thunderstorms from lincoln southward to hays, kansas, a little frozen precipitation south of hays. kansas city, a few lines of showers coming through. should get a break for an hour before the bulk drifts eastward bringing more rain your way. for the rest of the nation, very dry conditions in the eastern seaboard. high pressure will keep you smiling in places like the nation s capital as far south as atlanta, even into parts of florida. then when you get out to the west, high pressure, same thing. compressing effect on the atmosphere giving you sunny conditions for fresno, california, bakersfield same thing in the l.a. basin and into san diego. high temperatures, we ve wrapped things up, 70 degrees memphis your high. 64 in atlanta. 79 in tampa. 47 in new york. 52 in salt lake city. 79 in los angeles. that is a wrap on the ....
Welcome back to cnn saturday. and this morning many people are going to wake up with a day filled with a couple things. for some people it s going to be sun and clouds. for others it s going to be snow and some rain. let s show you who s getting what coming up in a few moments. here s a look nationally. pretty nice conditions for you along the eastern seaboard. you can see high pressure being the main feech wur the compressing effect on the atmosphere, a nice day. in the west basically the same deal, sunshine in the l.a. basin, even the san joaquin valley. in the center of the u.s. we ll be dealing with a combination of rain in spots like kansas city where we have one squall line moving through, south of lincoln, nebraska, we see some storms. beatrice, also north of salina. then along parts of 70 from hays over to kansas city you see the scattered showers driving along that area with plenty of cloud cover. on the back half of the system it is not rain but snow you ll be dealing with so ....
