CE202105 release, which is available to players now. We previously knew Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition would be going down for maintenance tonight, but we didn t know for what exactly before. Capcom has released a new balance patch for SF5 now, which sees significant adjustments made to much of the game s cast. This list of changes doesn t impact the entire cast, but it s pretty close to it with 33 characters in total including: Nash, Cammy, Birdie, Ken, Necalli, Vega, R. Mika, Rashid, Zangief, Laura, Dhalsim, F.A.N.G, Alex, Ibuki, Balrog, Urien, Akuma, Kolin, Abigail, Menat, Sakura, Blanka, Falke, Cody, G, Sagat, Kage, E. Honda, Lucia, Gill, Seth, Dan and Rose. ....

Capcom has recently released a lengthy list of patch notes that detail what has been changed, which you can view in .pdf format, or check out below. Of course, the most notable universal change is the addition of the V-Shift, a new defensive mechanic that s activated by pressing heavy punch and medium kick at the same time. Although this requires a full bar of V-Gauge to activate, the player will be refunded half a bar if they successfully time the V-Shift against an opponent s attack. ....
