GOSHEN – Michael Nuzzolese, Village of Goshen’s mayor for the past four years, died on Saturday, following a long illness. 
Nuzzolese, 66, was a Goshen native who served for 42 years in the Goshen Fire Department’s Dikeman Engine & Hose Company #3. He took over the reins as the village’s chief executive after retiring from his job as the village superintendent of public works. 
Nuzzolese dedicated his life to serving the community, said village Trustee Peter Smith: as a foreman in public works, as superintendent, as a village trustee and mayor, and as a long-time volunteer firefighter. Smith said Nuzzolese had been battling with cancer. ....
