Firefighters responded to a 2-alarm fire at The Grill at Leon Springs around 12:45 a.m. to find the blaze through the roof of the restaurant and its chimney collapsed. While the fire was too far gone at the European-inspired eatery, firefighters were able to contain it so that it did not spread to the Rudy’s BBQ location next door, according to Joe Arrington, the San Antonio Fire Department’s public information officer.
