The nation will introduce new environmental regulations that will put a stop to single-use items in large-size hotels and other commercial lodgings to reduce waste. But the plan is already facing a backlash as the convenience of such items is one of the reasons people use such facilities, especially those providing luxury brand sample products.

Park Hyatt Seoul presents the Winter at the Park package, a seasonal getaway.
The package, available for stays until the end of February, combines one night in a Park Hyatt guestroom with 100,000 won in dining credits for use with room service and at all hotel restaurants, a gift of Aesop hand balm (75 milliliters) and use of the hotel swimming pool and fitness center. Guests choosing a suite are also presented with a complimentary bottle of wine and access to the hotel sauna. The package starts at 375,000 won per night in a standard room. Guests booking through the Park Hyatt website or mobile app are offered a complimentary bottle of welcome wine.

JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul presents the “Sweet Moments” experience until May 2021.
“Sweet Moments” includes one night in a Deluxe, Executive Deluxe or Executive Suite room, breakfast for two at Tavolo 24, and complimentary use of the swimming pool and fitness center.
The “Salon de Strawberry with Barbie” is also offered, which is an in-room afternoon tea set featuring a selection of desserts made with strawberries and two strawberry beverages.
Also included are a Barbie Passport and Open-Car Barbie or Scooter Barbie for guests staying in an Executive Deluxe or Executive Suite room.
The package starts at 200,000 won (tax excluded).
