HUDSON — A report from a concerned citizen led to a Hudson driver alleged to be intoxicated being removed from the road, Hudson Police Chief L. Edward Moore said Friday. Kevin M. Police: Hudson man charged with robbery, assault, in separate incidents

Jaleel A. Martin, 23, was charged with third-degree robbery, a class D felony, Moore said. On Nov. 16, at about 7:13 p.m., Hudson Police received a report from the Quick-Mart store, 67 Green St., that the store had been robbed. The store clerk told police a man entered the store and took $375 from the cash register and three packs of $1 lottery cards, Moore said. The man threatened the clerk during the theft and fled the scene before police arrived, Moore said. The clerk was not injured. Hudson police detectives investigated and arrested Martin on Dec. 14. Martin was arraigned by City Judge John Connor in Hudson City Court and was released pending a court appearance at a later date, Moore said.
