The two kayakers were paddling in waters near Townsville in North Queensland on Sunday when one of their oars struck an object.
The kayakers lifted the oar and were horrified to discover a stonefish, one of the most venomous fish in the ocean, hanging off the paddle. Unfortunately I didn t get to see it but my partner and friend saw their first wild stone fish today!
