Karsen Maurerâs RBI double tied the score at 1-1 in the 6th inning of the first game. The Orioles scored three runs in the top of the seventh to get the W. The got three bunt hits by Bradley Harper, Blake Burkhart and Corbin Bethel and an RBi single by Kyle Rodesiler in the seventh. Harper picked up the win throwing a three hitter. He struck out six and only have gave up two walks. Brady Mescher got the final out to record the save. ....

BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings improved to 7-6 overall and 5-5 in the Big 8 Conference as they escaped with a 50-47 victory over winless Springport. The Vikings trailed 25-21 at halftime but took control in the third quarter when they outscored the Spartans 16-8. Bronson overcame 29 percent shooting and 17 turnovers to get the win. Mason Harris led the Vikings with 13 points and four assists. Aden Hathaway added 11 points. Noah Houtz grabbed 10 rebounds. - The Reading Rangers used a 20-11 fourth quarter on Monday as they broke open a close game to defeat the Quincy Orioles 64-56. Quincy had a 45-44 lead heading into the final quarter. The Rangers avenged last weekâs  63-41 loss against the Orioles. ....

The rugged contest featured a total of 32 fouls and technical fouls on each team. Coldwater improved to 8-1 despite a 14-for-27 night at the foul line. The game was tied at 39-39 with two minutes to go but foul shots by Lu LeBron, Nate Tappenden and Brandon Downs along with a basket by Downs were enough to give Coldwater the win. ....
