Porchfest
New London, June 5, beginning at 11 a.m., Porchfest includes the dedication of the City Stage to the late Mayor Bill Gossman. There will be music on front porches within the area bounded on the north by First Street Northeast, on the south by First Street Southeast, on the east by Birch Street and on the west by Main Street. Maps will be available. Music on City Stage will be Kyle Ollah at 2:30 p.m. and Charlie Parr and Liz Draper at 3:30 p.m. Miss Myra will be at Goat Ridge Brewing at 7 p.m.
More than two dozen musicians will be playing music nearly all day in front of businesses and on porches Saturday in New London during the launch of the community's Porchfest. The event includes a performance by Duluth musician Charlie Paar, who will be performing on the outdoor Bill Gossman Memorial Stage in downtown New London.
