Ford Leads Europe CV Sales for Sixth Year in 2020

For the sixth consecutive year, Ford Motor Company is the No. 1 commercial vehicle brand across the 20 traditional European markets. With CV sales of 329,826 units for 2020, Ford of Europe took a commanding 14.6 percent share of the market up 0.7 points from 2019. That’s an all-time full-year record for the Euro 20.
Ranger, Puma move big numbers
Another Ford vehicle that was dominant in terms of share is the Ranger, which commanded 34.9 percent of the market for the year. Ford’s SUV share totaled 39.1 percent of all passenger vehicles, up 8.1 percentage points from 2019. One of Ford’s bestselling vehicles in the Euro 20 was the Puma, which hit 118,298 vehicles delivered in its second full year of sales.

Ford Motor Company took an active role in the inauguration of 46
th President of the United States Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris on Wednesday, supplying 15,000 customized masks used during the proceedings. The masks, which Ford made in Michigan, feature the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies logo in the upper left corner and a 59
th Inaugural Ceremonies logo in the upper right corner.
Ford CEO Jim Farley said that providing the masks is a further demonstration of the company’s commitment to providing personal protective equipment during the COVID-19 pandemic. He called it “a huge honor for Ford to support a tradition so fundamental to our democracy.”
Ford Top Brand in Canada for 12th Year in 2020

Ford secured its 12th consecutive year as the top automotive brand in Canada in 2020, delivering 239,571 vehicles over the year. This number was also high enough to make Ford the Ford Motor Company Canada’s No. 1 automaker overall for the fifth straight year.
Driving Ford’s success was surprise, surprise the F-Series, which achieved its 55th year as the bestselling truck in Canada. The F-Series, with sales totaling 128,649 trucks in 2020, is also Canada’s bestselling vehicle overall for 11 years and counting. The F-Series also locked up its 44th year as America’s bestselling truck in 2020.
Sky Adds 151 Ford Transit Custom PHEVs to Fleet

Sky, Europe’s entertainment and media powerhouse, is aiming to be net zero carbon by 2030. To help with that goal, Sky is turning to another titan: Ford Motor Company. With a fleet of 151 Ford Transit Custom PHEVs at its disposal, Sky aims to cut fleet emissions to nil within the next decade.
Sky made the choice to link up with Ford after the automaker’s successful trial in London. Over 12 months, a fleet of Transit Plug-in Hybrid test vehicles covered 150,000 miles 70 percent of that using battery power only. The Sky vehicles include a geofencing module that automatically senses when the van is entering a low-emission or zero-emission zone. This allows the vehicle to comply with regulations and cut fuel costs.
