Since May, the city has declared Bombyx a nightclub because it hosts concerts, ordered the center to shut down over a lack of indoor sprinklers before allowing it to reopen, and narrowed the scope of the organization’s entertainment license.
All of us at Young@Heart applaud the officials of the city and the creators of Bombyx Center for Arts & Equity for finding a way forward from the impasse that temporarily shut down Bombyx from presenting an amazing line-up of music in that historic.
