When You Can Learn About the 3.0 Patch and More Today, Capcom has announced the next Monster Hunter Digital Event. This is one of several that the company has hosted in the past couple of months, with the previous one taking place in April. As has been the case in the past couple of events, we can expect to hear the developers discuss Monster Hunter: Rise’s continued post-launch support and Monster Hunter Stories 2. Capcom has confirmed that the event will take place on May 26th. The event will be streamed on their Twitch channel. The team confirmed that they would be discussing the upcoming 3.0 update for Monster Hunter Rise in the announcement. As was the case with the 2.0 update, the first major addition since the game’s launch, 3.0 will expand the game’s story and add several new hunts for players to participate in. It brings a suite of new challenges and monsters - plus one unwelcome tweak as in-depth character editing is now locked behind a paywall. As previously disclosed by Capcom new beasts are coming as part of the update, with Chameleos - a jittery elder dragon first introduced in Monster Hunter 2 and one that s only made fleeting appearances since - joined by meaner, harder Apex versions of iconic bastards Diablos and Rathalos.
