BEAUFORT. – Beaufort is already busy preparing for the forthcoming Election.
On Saturday the District Officer, Mr E. P. Dallimore, who is also Returning Officer held a training course for Presiding Officers at Elections.
A second course for other Election personnel will be held on 20th October at the Kung Ming School No 1. Beaufort.
A complete mock polling station will be set up and there will be a practice run through of voting. Members of political parties will be invited to take part.
Notices of election are displayed in all the nine wards of the Beaufort District Council Authority:- Beaufort East, Beaufort West, Beaufort South, Kota Klias, Padas Damit, Weston, Membakut, Pimping and Membakut North. ....
