Guv hands over certificates at maiden convocation of IGNCA | Ranchi News

Ranchi: The maiden convocation of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), Regional Centre Ranchi was held at the Aryabhatt hall in the capital city on Wednesday. Governor Droupadi Murmu, who was the chief guest on the occasion, handed over the certificates to the students. Fifteen students received their post-graduate diploma in tribal arts and crafts at the event. Speaking on the occasion, the governor said art and culture was the soul of India and it must be protected. She added that Indian song and dance forms are rich and so Indian artists are invited to perform in other countries.
