New Delhi, Jan 15 : President Ram Nath Kovind has given the first donation for the construction of the grand Ram temple at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. He donated Rs 5,00,100 to a joint delegation of office bearers of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the Ram Mandir Trust at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Friday.
With this donation by President Kovind, the fund collection drive for the Ram temple started across the country. The campaign will run till February 27. ....

New Delhi [India], January 15 (ANI): President Ramnath Kovind on Friday donated Rs 5,00,100 as a contribution towards the construction of Ram Temple in Uttar Pradesh s Ayodhya.
A Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) delegation including its International Working President Alok Kumar, RSS leader Kulbhushan Ahuja, the treasurer of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Trust Govind Dev Giri and temple construction committee head Nripendra Mishra called on the President at the Rashtrapati Bhavan this morning.
This is VHP s campaign initiated to seek a contribution towards the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya cutting across languages, castes, communities and classes, informed a senior VHP member. ....

President Ram Nath Kovind on Friday donated over Rs 5 lakh for the construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya on behalf of his family.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Friday launched the nation-wide fund-raising campaign for the construction of the Ram temple. The campaign, which ends on February 27, is being supported by the RSS and its affiliates, and Hindu saints and seers.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and leaders cutting across political boundaries will be approached for donations during the campaign.
Kovind, in presence of his family members, handed over the cheque to a team headed by Treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust Govind Das Giri. ....
