上午8时30分，圣火采集仪式开始。4名国旗护卫队员高举中华人民共和国国旗，迈着整齐有力的步伐进入会场，全场奏唱中华人民共和国国歌。奥运冠军郭文珺、残奥冠军翟翔手持采火棒走上圣火采集台。当圣火熊熊点燃时，全场爆发出热烈掌声。国家体育总局党组书记局长苟仲文、中国残联理事长周长奎接过采火棒，并向全场展示。随后，圣火被引入火种灯。在全场高唱《没有共产党就没有新中国》的歌声中，第十四届全运会和残特奥会圣火采集取得圆满成功。以“不忘初心传递梦想”为主题的火炬传递活动将于8月16日至9月12日在三秦大地展开。首站点火起跑仪式将于8月16日在西安市南门广场举行；9月15日圣火进入西安奥体中心体育场，点燃十四运会火炬塔；10月22日圣火进入西安奥体中心体育馆，点燃残特奥会火炬塔。（总台记者张巍黄立
