Kristopher Bilbrey, a political commentator and podcast host, filed the civil lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana Indianapolis Division earlier this month. He claims Henry County Sheriff John Sproles posted an edited video on his professional sheriff's Facebook page and after Bilbrey commented on the video, Sproles deleted his comment and blocked him from the page.
The American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana has filed a federal lawsuit against the sheriff in Henry County, alleging he violated a man’s First Amendment rights by deleting his comment on Facebook and then blocking him.
