The government has taken a Tk 438 crore project to bring fallow lands under cultivation across the country, Agriculture Minister Muhammad Abdur Razzaque said today.
The minister spoke at the annual general meeting of Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) Krishibid Samiti at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka.

DHAKA, March 13, 2021 (BSS) – Agriculture Minister Dr Md Abdur Razzak today said that the government has undertaken a project involving Taka 438 crore to cultivate fallow land across the country as per the directives of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to tackle food crisis amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“Through this project, family nutrition garden will be established in the yard and fallow land. As a result, food production will increase further,” he said this while speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural function of the annual general meeting of the Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) Krishibid Samiti at Bangabandhu International Conference Center here today, said a press release. ....
