What may have been the hottest week on record all across the bay area. In some cases, though, the heat will continue to linger. We have live team coverage. Ginger is monitoring yet another day of flex alerts, asking us to conserve power once again, but first well begin with meteorologist kari hall who is tracking the conditions. Kari, those temperatures are coming down slightly, but were adding in something else. For the weekend well add in humidity, but its still a dry heat for today. Take a look at the range in temperatures were already seeing. San francisco at 64 while were at 92 in vacaville, and were seeing some low 90s in dublin. Some of us are already starting to feel the heat once again ....

View in walnut creek. Starting out with a few clouds but our temperatures have been warm to start out the day. Thats what well see as we go into the next couple days with the high humidity and also looking at our temperatures in the low 60s to start out the day. As we go into the res of the forecast, the humidity drops but those temperatures do stay high. So ill have a look at that as well as the rest of the forecast coming up in a few minutes. Mike, you have been keeping an eye on a crash that happened in the east bay. Thats right carrie, that crash has cleared from fremont. No problems or injuries. It ma have just been a disabled vehicle called in. So great news traveling along 880. The sensors have not lit up yet, no delays reported for the overnight construction set to clear by 5 00 a. M. right now, scattered light showers across much of the north bay. it s been steady for much of marin county, toward napa county and solano county. for parts of the east bay, we re seeing steady rain from oakland to danville to concord, as well as just starting to pick up this brentwood. light showers in the south bay as well as some more rain that s going to be coming in between the next few hours. but of course our attention will turn towards the atmospheric river still out in the pacific, and we will be tracking that set to arrive on thursday into friday. so we ll have more of that timeline and what to expect coming up in a few minutes. the bay area s wettest season in years shows no signs of letting up. in fact, as kari was just telling us, many neighborhoods could once again be inundated because of the latest atmospheric river. today in the bay s bob redell is live in pleasanton this morning. pg&e will be using a relatively new technology to restore electricity ....
