4-day Lane County COVID-19 clinic aims to vaccinate 7,400 by Tuesday
By Tuesday, 7,400 more residents will have had their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. 
People are just really excited that the vaccine is here,  Karen Gaffney, director of Lane County Health and Human Services, said Saturday.
She noted that despite the cold morning weather,  it s a great place to work this weekend.
Twenty-five members of the Oregon National Guard were sent to Lane County to join the four-day, invitation-only drive-thru clinic in Eugene.

In a year full of surprises and disasters, members of the Guard have been deployed throughout the state to help distribute personal protective equipment, assist with large COVID-19 testing events and fight wildfires. ....
