TRI-CITIES, WA - According to a representative from the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board Koko s Bartini in Kennewick and Kimo s Sportsbar & Brew Pub in Richland, combined have had 200 complaints filed against them for defying state orders during this pandemic. On Wednesday the board told NBC Right Now both restaurants have 24 hours to comply or they will face a liquor license suspension. The rep says state enforcement officers have visited Kokoâs Bartini and Kimos Sportsbar & Brew pub in Richland multiple times for violations. âThey have received several verbal and official written warnings, an administrative violation and now they have been issued a 180 day suspension if they do not comply with state law in 24 hours of receiving the notice,â said the representative.  ....
Kimo s Sportsbar in Richland and Koko s Bartini in Kennewick are getting slapped with liquor license suspensions for 180 days. The two restaurants chose to open to the public, against statewide orders to cease indoor dining. Naturally, the debate rages on as to whether this does any good in preventing the spread of coronavirus, as many establishments simply put up tents outside so you can eat indoors, except outside. Wait, did that make sense? You can t eat indoors but you can eat inside (a tent) that is outdoors. Okay, I think I got it. No, I think I don t, whatever. It s okay to order your food for take out and eat it in Aisle 6 at Walmart, though. ....
