The fatal shot Strathmore man Brandon Giffen fired into a moving pickup truck on a darkened Alberta highway could have come from as much as a kilometre away, a witness testified Monday.
Austin Drummond, who was seated in the back of the Volvo sedan being driven by Giffen’s younger brother, Kody, said all he could see of the fleeing Dodge pickup was the tail lights.

The fatal shot Strathmore man Brandon Giffen fired into a moving pickup truck on a darkened Alberta highway could have come from as much as a kilometre away, a witness testified Monday.
Austin Drummond, who was seated in the back of the Volvo sedan being driven by Giffen’s younger brother, Kody, said all he could see of the fleeing Dodge pickup was the tail lights.
