The highway because two lanes are open, lanes three and four are open but lanes one and two are closed which is why the traffic is dragging along. They hoped to have it cleared by noon but that is not happening because one of the semi trucks involved in the accident had a full load. They tried to drag it but that was not working. They literally have to take everything out of the truck, and we have another truck waiting to take on that freight but it is taking a long time. This crash happened several hours ago, at 4 am with these large semi trucks blocking three westbound lanes in the Castro Valley causing the three hour delay for many drivers. Chp has confirmed this was a fatal accident. The driver of the second semi truck was killed. At 4 20 am we had a three vehicle collision involving two big rigs, and an earlier car.
